any chance of a re-up of Going Blank Again and Carnival of Light???
Ride were the best thing that ever cane out of Oxford apart from the A40!
Here's another comment for you, shame it's from the sad git who posted before!
Ride became an obsession of mine after I saw them perform Drive Blind on some BBC music show (was it Transmission?)
I was lucky enough to catch them live at a small pub in Dunstable where they blew me away. It had been a long time since any band had done that (I think the Clash were the band before that)
I suspect this was a gig before they 'broke', unfortunately I couldn't see much being a short arse but the sound ... that lovely sound
I saw them after that in Oxford when the Good Ole Boys (a motley crew if ever I saw one) got a van together and blasted down the A40 drunkenly singing their heads off, I couldn't understand why everyone seemed to be sitting down though, or was that somewhere else?
... and thanks for the memories (getting dewey eyed now ...)
