Idha - Melody Inn

I first heard this lady on the radio and thought that she was good and then they said that it was the wife of Andy Bell from Ride, so I thought it was better. Then upon buying the CD singles I thought she was fantastically beautiful. But the music is not bad at all. I love her version of the Gram Parsons, Hickory Wind.

1. High over Hollywood
2. Red Ballooon
3. From Me to You
4. More Love
5. Another Door
6. Stockholm
7. All My Loving
8. Hickory Wind
9. Get Undressed
10. Safe at Home
11. Music Carries On

Melody Inn is a beautiful (mainly) acoustic album with hints of Americana. Much of Idha's music and style on this album is strongly influenced by artists like Gram Parsons and The Faces. Whilst writing or co-writing the majority of this album, Idha does include three wonderful cover songs, written by Janis Ian, Gram Parson and Tim Hardin.
